With the TI Graph Links, come the programmers.  Joe Wingbermeulehe, Brandon Whaley, aka Red Picasso, and others, making Assemble code programs for the TI Graphing calculators.  Following is a review of this reporter's favorite game.

Tetris v 1.4- this is the most recent version of calculator Tetris.  It is by far the smoothest animation and has the most user friendly interface.  It includes single player or double player, in which you link to another calculator.  Single and double player includes a starting at levels 0-9, and an optional challenge of "high, 1-5."  The latter raises the lines you start with, making it harder.  Three high score slots are available, and this reporter suggests playing on level 9, and trying to get multiple tetrises, in order to stay on the score list.  Also, there is a pause, activated my Mode, and a save [aka "teacher" key], activated by Delete.  Saving a game enables you to do other things on your calculator while your Tetris game stays untouched.  Finally, two-player mode comes with the options to send 2-4 lines or 1-3 lines, which is toggled by pressing "S."  Also, another option is to unscramble or scramble lines sent, toggled by pressing "L."

One more thing to note is the mysterious "LEVEL X,"  in which the "Level 9" in double player mode is replaced by an "x."  This 2-player level enables the one player with the x to activate a super level, in which the pieces fall at almost no speed at all, and every two lines you delete, you send around 5 times as many.  This is incredibly unfair to the other player, however if both players have the level, a highly-challenging game takes places, a race to see who can send the first line.  The only problem with this level, is that it seems to be closely related to a bug in the game.  Level X is a mystery at Ocean Lakes [and at Tallwood], in that we aren't sure how to access it.  Some think it is a random occurrence. Some think it has something to do with pressing Enter or On at the Waiting screen.  Some think it has something to do with the link being temporarily broken during the game.  However, we all know that it is signified by a blank screen, flashing Game Over.  In any case, Level X is dangerous.  Trying to
purposely get this level will many times result in a freezing of the calculator, and sometimes a removing of the Lithium battery.  If anyone has knowledge to the actual process of accessing Level X, please email the owner of this page.
